Xxvi, 700 pages, tipped in errata, signed by William Watson to “Anne Shaw, from her most respected and valued friend- the author, 1828” detached from original board and reattached during refurbishment.19 engraved plates including frontispiece, plus two additional folding plates on p485 and p529. Comes with numerous newspaper articles, letters, postcards and research that previous owner, Dr. E. Bullmore (identified by his bookplate on the front pastedown) has undertaken. There is a newpaper article for 1945 about a talk Dr Bullmore gave about the Curfew Bells of Wisbech Church.
