Book Condition A lovely set with very little wear, professionally re-backed, bumped corners with chips sympathetically repaired, a little splitting on the front hinges, light insect damage in two vol.s but at the extremities and only affecting the lower fore-edge corner of the prelims to one volume and the front hinge of the other, minimal spotting, some light shading, a little ghosting, the plates are bright and beautiful, the contents are very clean and neat, binding tight, these books are in very good condition
