26, XLI pages. The Bookplate on the front pastedown belongs to Cornelius Walford who was president of the shorthand society and vice-president of the Historical Society. A part of his collection perished in a fire. He has made notes throughout the book of his learning. A bookplate on the rear pastedown is from the Bibliotheca Lindesiana which was owned by James Lindsay 26th Earl of Crawford and was once one of the most impressive private libraries in the UK
